We’re giving away $3,500 in bill credits this summer to members who update their contact information!

We’ve been working on some big projects here at Guthrie County Rural Electric Cooperative (REC), including a new AMI data, mapping, geographic information system and operation analytics system. These updates will help improve the reliability of our system and make it easier for you, our members, to report power outages. A major part of this update is a new messaging system that allows us to contact members regarding power outages and restoration, planned interruptions in service, tree trimming and much more.

To keep you informed, we need your help! Providing updated email addresses and phone numbers on your account will help us send you notices in a timely manner. We are committed to keeping your information confidential. We will not share your personal contact information with other individuals or organizations.

We understand the summer months are a busy time of year and updating your contact information might not be at the top of your to-do list. That’s why we’re running a bill credit giveaway! During May, June, July and August, we will be giving away a total of 20 bill credits to members who provide us with their updated contact information.

How it works
Call the co-op at 641-747-2206 to update your phone number(s) and email address or update your information via SmartHub. You will then be entered into the giveaway!
