Central Iowa Power Cooperative is a generation and transmission cooperative headquartered in Des Moines with offices in Cedar Rapids, Creston and Wilton. CIPCO is the wholesale power supplier to Guthrie County REC, along with 12 other rural electric cooperatives and associations. They serve a population of nearly 300,000 Iowans and approximately 12,000 commercial and industrial accounts. |
