A June golfing fundraiser at the Lake Panorama Par 3 course generated $32,795 for the Brushy Creek Area Honor Flight, including $600 from Guthrie County REC. Funds will support the next flight scheduled for Sept. 18.

Honor flights provide veterans a free opportunity to tour war memorials, monuments and Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C., over the course of a day. Fourteen veterans from surrounding communities will be included in the upcoming trip.
