Students from Panorama High School attended the National High School Fishing World Finals & National Championship in June with some financial help from Guthrie County REC.
The co-op donated $500 to help the local youth attend the event at Lake Hartwell, South Carolina. While none of the Panorama students made the World Finals, students Emmet King and AJ Draper placed 132nd with six fish weighing
in at 9 pounds, 10 ounces; and students Gavin Lindstrom and Blake Schwartz placed 191st, with five fish weighing in at
6 pounds, 10 ounces. More than 400 teams competed.
Congratulations to these students!
